UNGDOMSØEN RESONANCE

Sculptures series tensioned in Hangar C during KUNE festival in Copenhagen, Denmark

For the first time trying an irregular geometry plate, which take the Ungdomsøen island’s top view as a geometry for the liquid contenitor.

The process begins by photographing cymatics experiments with liquid and light. Then selecting a precise momentum and materialising the topology of a liquid in resonance into wood.

Big thanks to the Kune organizers and volunteers for the creation of a festival with an amazing synergy.

For ‘Ungdomsøen Resonance’ I searched for an iconic pattern within an irregular plate shape, the island’s top view geometry.

Trying with 3 different plate diameters: Ø2cm , Ø4cm and Ø6cm. By combining different liquids and illumination techniques. It took more than 600 photos of cymatics images experiments to achieve the desired image.

Water, green colorant, oil and coffee had been some of the most significant for this project.

METAMORSONIC

Metamorsonic is an immersive, interactive art installation that invites audiences to become part of a live percussion band.

The butterfly light sculpture adds to the immersive experience by featuring half of the wings connect- ed to each drum, symbolizing the transformation and growth that takes place during metamorphosis.

Metadrum offers a unique opportunity for festival-goers to engage in a collaborative art experience, where they become part of a live percussion band and create a visual spectacle with light and color. The installation is designed to inspire creativity and imagination, while also highlighting the transform- ative power of art and music in representing the evolution of human history
